Reykjavik Museum of Photography
The Museum of Photgraphy, or Ljósmyndasafn Reykjavíkur, as they say in Iceland, is located in downtown Reykjavik. The museums preserves around 5 million photographs taken by both professional and amateur photographers from years 1870-2002. The exhibitions are various from both Icelandic and foreign photographers.
Offices and museum shop open weekdays 10:00 – 16:00
Exhibitions open Monday – Thursday 12:00 – 19:00
Friday 12:00 – 18:00 , Weekends 13:00 -17:00
The museum is on the 6th floor. Free admission
