Smithsonian's National Zoo, Washington DC
Pandas, elephants, tigers and a whole bunch of other animals can be found at the Smithsonian National Zoological Park in Washington DC. The best thing? It‘s free admission! The zoo is a home to around 2000 animals or 400 species. They welcome over 2 million visitors every year. There are not only animals in the park, you can also take a walk in one of the beautiful gardens.

Exhibit Buildings: 10am – 6pm (4.30pm November - March)
Grounds: 6am – 8pm (6pm November-March)
Visitor Center, Shops and Concessions: 9am – 5pm
Last Admittance 7pm (summer only)
